Forest Projection Studies explores how the digital echoes into nature, questioning where reality ends and simulation begins. Filmed in the Styrian forests, AI-generated video sequences are projected onto bark, branches, and sky before being re-filmed, allowing the digital image to merge with the landscape. A surreal Saturn sheds a tear that seeps into a tree’s surface, while a hypnotic eye emerges from the darkness as a 3D loop. Blurring material and illusion, the works propose a space where the synthetic no longer represents reality, but enters into it.
